Jill Lanning
PTA
Jill joined Quinn Physical Therapy at the end of 2022 and is our newest PTA – Physical Therapy Assistant. She is originally from Ohio and has been in Louisiana since 2019. She was a traveling therapist and had a contact job here in Louisiana, so she decided to stay.
A graduate from Professional Skills Institute with an Associates of Applied Science in PTA. She completed Exercise Science/Sports Health care curriculum at Penta Career Center before college. If you ask Jill what brought her to the Physical Therapy field, here’s her story.
While playing soccer in high school, she injured her knee which required Physical Therapy. She enjoyed the outpatient setting as a patient and grew appreciation for how much progress could be made with appropriate exercises. While at Penta Career Center, she was exposed to preventing injuries, rehabilitation, and various other health conditions that Physical Therapy could assist with. This was why Jill felt the desire to complete her PTA degree and became licensed four years ago.
